Join the TEAM

Are you a high school senior with a little job experience, looking for work? The Training, Employment and Mentoring Program (TEAM) can match you to a worksite while helping you build job skills such as being on time, dressing for success, and following through on assignments. You’ll finish the TEAM Program prepared for success on the job!

If you’re interested in joining the TEAM Program, you must be:

  • Between 17 and 18 year old High School seniors
  • From a low-income household or on the free or reduced lunch program at school
  • A resident of Glendale, Burbank or La Cañada Flintridge
  • Able to obtain a valid work permit, if under the age of 18
  • Willing to work after school and/or on weekends
Training, Employment & Mentoring Program

Youth Employment Incentive Program (EIP)

Get paid while gaining 200 hours of experience. Open to young adults ages 18-24, EIP connects you to an employer who helps train and prepare you for success in the workplace.

If you’re interested in the Employment Incentive Program, you must be:

  • Between the ages of 18 and 24
  • Not attending school at time of enrollment
  • Residents of Glendale, Burbank or La Cañada Flintridge
  • Able to obtain a valid work permit, if under the age of 18
  • Willing to work part-time, full-time and/or on weekends

Program also has other eligibility requirements

Summer Youth Employment Program

If you’re between the ages of 14-24, Summer program can help you find your first job, and earn money while gaining work experience.

If you’re interested in joining the Summer Program, you must be:

  • Between the ages of 14 and 24
  • From a low-income household
  • A resident of Glendale, Burbank or La Cañada Flintridge
  • Able to obtain a valid work permit, if under the age of 18

Funded by Los Angeles County Youth@Work, services are designed to provide our youth with their first experience to the world of work.

Summer Youth Employment Program

Student Training Employment Program (STEP)

Open to students between 16-21 with a physical or intellectual disability, the STEP program gets you job-ready while earning money. As part of STEP, you’ll be matched with a worksite that fits your skills and interests, and get paid while you accumulate 120 hours of work experience.
To support your success, you’ll also have access to work readiness training at Glendale Community College’s Professional Development Center. A dedicated case manager will make sure you have the support and resources you need to reach your goals.
If you’re interested in the STEP Program, you must be:

  • Between 16 and 21-year-old
  • Enrolled in high school or college
  • Able to provide documentation of disability
  • Able to obtain a valid work permit, if under the age of 18
  • Willing to work after school and/or on weekends
